Undergrads recognized for UG research

Four of our lab’s undergraduate researchers George Hammons, Ben Limsenben, Florie Sambuis, and Khloe Naegelin were recognized at the department’s annual awards banquet. Congratulations to them.

Furthermore, Florie Sambuis completed her B.S. degree from the College of Arts and Sciences (with a minor in Genetics). Florie’s UG research project focused on characterizing sperm morphology in broiler breeders, and she collaborated with graduate students working on different aspects of the physiology and genetics underlying fertility traits in chicken. Florie is off to Berlin (Germany) where she will be continuing a summer internship focusing on genetic counseling. Congratulations Florie!
