On March 3, 2023, our lab participated in the annual Darwin Day celebrations at TAMU, an event dedicated to celebrating and appreciating all things biology. Our lab turned out in force, contributing to the day’s success with an interactive booth designed to engage and educate the public about our research endeavors.
Interactive Booth: A Research Showcase
Our lab’s booth was an interactive experience designed to bring science closer to the community. We showcased the diverse research projects undertaken by our students, ranging from studies on synanthropic insects to the microbiome’s role in poultry health, and avian fertility. The booth served as a platform for public education, offering visitors a glimpse into the research being conducted within our lab and the opportunity to engage directly with the scientists behind the work.
