Our lab was well represented at the 2026 Plant and Animal Genome Conference (PAG) in San Diego this January, with Athrey, Kolton Witherspoon, and Triumph Okuku all attending and sharing our latest research findings with the international genomics community.
Athrey delivered a talk at the Poultry Workshop, highlighting the lab’s work at the intersection of genomics and livestock breeding. The workshop provides a focused venue for poultry researchers to exchange ideas and discuss emerging challenges in avian genetics and production systems.
Kolton and Triumph both gave lightning talks and presented a poster showcasing their work on broiler breeder male fertility and reproductive genomics.
