Cara’s study demonstrates how longitudinal data analysis can reveal fertility trends with direct implications for sustainability and production efficiency. The findings highlight the importance of integrating modern data science with agricultural research to understand and address fertility declines that may affect food security and industry stability.

As the findings, the study shows the trend of ongoing decline in broiler breeder fertility over the past decade, which could reach 60% by 20250 if not addressed. You can read the open-access paper below.
