Athrey recently completed an invited trip to Taiwan as part of the TAMU-Taiwan University Alliance (UAAT), hosted by National Chung Hsing University. The visit’s primary goal was to engage with leading researchers in the fields of animal genomics, smart agriculture, and technology.
During the trip, Athrey presented his work and discussed potential collaborations with faculty and students at multiple institutions, including National Sun Yat-sen University, National Taiwan University, and National Cheng Kung University in Tainan. The exchange of ideas aims to strengthen international partnerships and accelerate innovation in these critical areas of research.
