We are pleased to welcome Triumph Okuku to our lab. Triumph is from Nigeria and was awarded a Borlaug Fellowship to continue his graduate education. This program, created to strengthen global food security, provides training and research opportunities for scientists from developing nations. Triumph has a background in Agricultural Systems from Nigeria, adding valuable perspective to our research on the the applications of omics poultry.
During his fellowship, Triumph will train in genomics approaches used in our lab. We look forward to working with Triumph and to the perspectives he brings on applying genetics to solve global agricultural challenges.
